Pulmonary Consultants, PLLC, located in Tacoma, Washington, is the premier pulmonary group in the Pacific Northwest. The site employs an experienced research team of (9) board-certified Pulmonologists, (2) Nurse Practitioners, numerous Lab and Respiratory Technicians, Study Coordinators, and a Research Manager. The site is conveniently located near two major hospitals and all clinical research is done onsite. The providers have privileges and treat patients at six hospitals in the region. This provides a comprehensive patient population which enhances recruitment initiatives for all studies.
Our staff has extensive experience conducting Phase II-IV pharmaceutical trials, NIH-funded projects and Investigator IND research activities. Pulmonary Consultants, P.L.L.C. is currently conducting the following studies and is actively looking for Volunteers. For all our studies, study related tests and health exams will be provided at no cost. Compensation will be provided for the time and travel depending on the duration of participation.

Criteria:
- Men and Women, age 18 - 65 years. - Clinical diagnosis of persistent mild to moderate Asthma
- Idopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
Criteria:
- Men and Women ages 40 - 80 years. - Diagnosis of IPF, no more than 4 years before today.
Criteria:
- Men and women, ages 5 - 65 years. - Clinical history of significant grass allergies and having received treatment for the disease during the previous Grass Pollen Season.
Criteria:
- Men and women, ages 40 - 80 years. - Subjects with a current or prior history of > 10 pack-years of cigarette smoking. - For patients >= 40 years of age: Established coronary artery disease (CAD)/peripheral vascular disease (PVD)/Previous stroke/ PreviousMI/Diabetes mellitus with target organ disease. - For patients >= 60 years of age: any 2 of the following: Be treated for hypercholesterolemia/ hypertension/ diabetes mellitus/ peripheral vascular disease.
With more upcoming studies in these areas, we also conduct Research in other areas including Bronchoscopic Interventions, COPD, Smoking Cessation, and Sleep Disorders.
